She sat at her desk and stared on the computer screen. She couldn't see what her eyes were capturing as her mind sat elsewhere in the midst of his world.
She felt so bizarre. She could feel her skin crawl. Something cold was seeping through her body....and that cold feeling had a name: loneliness. She breathed sharply, her breath rasping as she assessed the farce of it all.
What a laugh.
She smiled. He meant the world to her. He was special. He was her world.
Now she cringed.
Why was she so cold... The room was lit up by a hot sun and it's rays were teasing the plants all around her into life... so why, why did she feel so cold?
She turned abruptly and stared into the mirror behind her. She saw an ordinary girl, with no real beauty or charm staring back at her. Her khol was smudged near the right eye...and she looked as though she had been crying. Was this her? For a split second, she stood bewildered, she felt alien to this girl, alien to this emo-figure look alike. What had happened to her?
Slowly her eyes travelled to the girl's hands, to her painted nails and to the pencil her knuckles were clenching... She was so cold.
He had showed her what this world could look like through the windshields of love. He had shown her that the way to salvation was towards him. He had kissed his desire and breath into her thirsty soul...

Her hands flew to her mouth as she remembered his allusion to her lips... She was mortified as her veins picked up a hint of the high tide.
She felt the cold sway and thud around her head. She crouched on the floor and stared at the white marble. She could now see a misty pool staring back at her...
The Crystals shimmered and threatened to fall, she wiped them off with an impatient shrug. She felt him then, felt the full force of his aura as it hit her face on. She crumbled to pieces as her soul flanked the sides of her heart in protest.
She felt like she would die but knew this was no more death than life.
He smiled in her mind.
She smiled back.
He was not physical, had never been.
=============================
She looked up and felt his eyes upon her...
===============
She felt like she knew him since the beginning of times. Her soul had probably met his and been linked to his since forever... She felt his essence, his beautiful smile, his expressive eyes telling her all the beautiful stories in the world, she felt like she had been a part of him in some beautiful moment at some beautiful time...
God.
She came to her reality as she heard the clatter of the pencil to the floor.... Illusions.
She picked herself up and went to stare out of the long bay windows. Her soul was parched from awaiting this love. Her whole life a pendulum of roses and thorns.....
========================
Another world, another land, another story. Her anguish is apparent, almost tangible.
She was now staring into the oblivion of her own feelings, completely awake, completely totally into the blasphemy of self denial.
How would she ever resurface from this quagmire?
